2014 Syrah

This is a big, hearty Washington Syrah, with inky color and bold flavors. A beautiful undercurrent of purple flowers (violets and lavender) offset the bigger dark fruit flavors that are the hallmark of warm climate Syrah. Given time to breathe, this wine continue to unfold layer upon complex layer. 290 cases produced.

Recommended drinking period: Through 2025.

Food pairing suggestions:
Syrah-Braised Short Ribs
Grilled Portobello Mushrooms


2015 Mourvedre (Wine Club Exclusive Wine)

Our Desert Wind Vineyard site has proven itself a great growing area for this Spanish grape made famous in the south of France. This is a big, beautiful wine, showing spice and white pepper notes tempered by rhubarb, dark fruit and a firm acidity. We recommend decanting this wine prior to serving. Only 166 cases produced.

Recommended drinking period: Through 2020.

Seared Sesame-Crusted Tuna
Lentil, Mushroom and Sweet Potato Shepherd's Pie

2015 Barbera

With aromas and flavors of dark cherry, spice and berry, this wines natural lively acidity makes it a terrific partner to a wide away of cuisine. A light- to medium-bodied wine, Barbera is supple and bright. We find it is typically best enjoyed young--within a year or two of release.

Recommended drinking period: Through 2018.

Crisp-Tender Roast Duck with Cherry-Rosemary Sauce
Barbera Lynch's Tagliatelle Bolognese

2016 Dry Rosé (in Cask Club allocations only)

A later-than-usual harvest allowed terrific flavor development in our Sangiovese while the cooler vintage prevented the grapes from becoming overly ripe. This rosé is bursting with flavors of wild strawberry, bright cherry and a touch of spice. It's a terrific wine for sipping year-round, but is especially lovely in the warmer months. Only 160 cases produced.

Recommended drinking period: Through 2017.
