Desert Wind is a luxury destination and winery resort in the heart of Washington Wine Country. Our Southwest-inspired facility features our Estate Vineyard, Winery, Tasting Room, Restaurant, Gourmet Gift Shop, Event Center, Inn & Spa perched on a bluff overlooking the Yakima River.

Desert Wind highlights hand-crafted wines that celebrate estate grown vineyards in the Wahluke Slope AVA.
 
Desert Wind is open daily, offering seated wine flights, lunch, vineyard tours, private dining, overnight accommodations & private events. Advance booking is highly recommended.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

The health and safety of our customers and staff is our number one priority.

Based on discussions with the Governor’s office, effective immediately (as of 5/14/2021) vaccinated staff and patrons may remove their masks, indoors and outdoors. This is consistent with the current mask order. Guests who are displaying symptoms or are not feeling well will be asked to return another time.

COMPANY SAFETY PROCEDURES

All DWW employees will be following state guidelines of state health protocols. These include: 

  • Daily health screenings when arriving at work – checking temperature, cough, or shortness of breath
  • Training on proper cleaning, hand washing, distancing etiquette, and posting best hygiene practices
  • Washing hands before entering tasting rooms and regularly throughout shifts
  • Maintaining 6 feet of separation from other individuals when possible
  • All areas in use will be regularly cleaned and disinfected
  • Hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, soap and water will be available to employees and customers
